Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Contractor-Verify API service operated by Contractor-Verify ("us", "we", or "our").
By accessing or using our API service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.
Contractor-Verify provides an API service that allows users to verify contractor licenses using data sourced from publicly available state licensing board records. The service is provided "as is" and "as available."
You agree to:
To use our API, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data. The data is sourced from public records and is synced periodically. You should independently verify critical information.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as specified at the time of purchase. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Refunds are provided at our discretion.
The API, documentation, and related materials are owned by Contractor-Verify and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Contractor-Verify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
